Why We Lift

At RAW Inc Training we’re big advocates of increasing client strength as well as building muscle.

This doesn’t mean we’re turning everyone into Arnold Schwarzenegger clones, instead we are developing tools for ongoing health and well being in life outside the gym.

Here’s a few reasons why we’re such big believers of resistance training:

  • Benefits In Everyday Life: Picking up the grand kids, carrying shopping in from the car and as we get older it even benefits things we might currently take for granted, like climbing the stairs & getting on and off the couch.

  • Bone Health: Using resistance training is beneficial for increasing bone density and reducing the risk of fractures and osteoporosis, especially as we get older.
  • Reduce Injury Risk: As well as reducing the risk of osteoporosis, having more muscle helps reduce the risk of injury providing support and stability as well as acting like a suit of armor protecting our internal organs.
  • Improve Body Composition: More muscle mass makes it a lot easier to reduce body fat, as well as help keep it off!
  • Its For Everyone!: Regardless of if you’re a beginner or advanced lifter resistance training can be scaled through a variety of different exercises and training methods to ensure its accessible to all!
